Hello, my name is Sylvia. My husband’s job at NWMSU brought us to Maryville back in 2013. Since then we have enjoyed raising our three girls here, and proudly call ourselves locals!
Some of you may know me as your local French macaron and cake baker. Over the past five years, I’ve had the pleasure of baking for Maryville and beyond—and it’s been a rewarding experience. Not only did I get to know and befriend so many wonderful customers, but I also discovered what truly excites me about running a business, particularly in Maryville.
Now that my youngest child is in school, I have decided it was time to grow beyond baking from home and launch a new business centered around what I’ve come to recognize as my expertise: operational management—specifically in designing efficient systems, coordinating logistics, and serving others. That’s how Local Laundry was born.
Local Laundry is built on my strengths in organization, reliability, attention to detail, and customer service—all while continuing to serve the Maryville community in a new way. I hope to keep bringing value to your daily routine, just as I did with my baked goods, and will discover this new service to be a true asset to not only you but our town as well.
